We sell the electric- and hydraulic-drive Batco FX1800 and FX2400 Pitstop conveyors and Brandt 2010A and 2015A GrainDeck conveyors.
Batco FX Pitstop Conveyors
The FX1800 is 25 feet long and rated up to 11,000 BPH. The FX2400 is 27 feet long and rated up to 18,000 BPH. Actual throughput depends on material, moisture, belt loading, drive, and downstream receiving capacity.
The FX1800 uses an 18-inch chevron belt, while the FX2400 uses a 24-inch chevron belt. Both Pitstop models have 7.5 inches of deck clearance, an 8-by-12-foot dump platform, a 32-by-114-inch hopper, and a 28-inch discharge height. The Batco FX1800 electric Pitstop drive-over conveyor uses electric drive. For dry wheat, electric power is 10 horsepower for the FX1800 and 15 horsepower for the FX2400. Hydraulic-drive machines are also available; confirm hydraulic flow, pressure, and expected capacity for the machine.
Pitstop conveyors are intended for dry, free-flowing grain, pulse crops, treated seed, and similar materials. AGI's manual for the 1800 and 2400 Pitstop families excludes canola and other oilseeds and requires its operating and cleanout procedures when handling fertilizer.
Hydraulic lift raises the Pitstop models on their transport wheels, and a self-propelled kit is optional. Confirm whether the self-propelled kit is installed.
Brandt GrainDeck Conveyors
The 2010A is 28 feet 8.75 inches long without EZMOVE, with 32.75 inches of discharge height and 69 inches of discharge reach. The 2015A is 33 feet 6.25 inches long without EZMOVE, with 53.25 inches of discharge height and 125.5 inches of reach. Both use a 20-inch belt and a 5.75-inch-high, 67.75-inch-wide deck with a 34-by-115-inch hopper.
Brandt offers hydraulic, electric, and gas drives. Both models call for 40 gas horsepower or 14-20 GPM for hydraulic drive. Our Brandt 2010A electric GrainDeck drive-over conveyor uses electric drive. EZMOVE and ramp extensions are optional, so confirm whether they are installed.
The GrainDeck belt system uses EZTrak belt alignment and tensioning, double-lip intake sealing, a belt wiper, and an enclosed belt return. Brandt describes the belt system as gentle on pulses and seed compared with common grain-handling systems.
Capacity and Site Fit
Brandt rates gas-drive 2010A and 2015A at up to 12,000 BPH in canola and up to 15,000 BPH in durum. For hydraulic drive, the 2010A is rated up to 11,500 BPH in canola and up to 12,500 BPH in durum; the 2015A is rated up to 10,500 BPH in canola or durum. Electric-drive 2010A and 2015A models require 15 horsepower.
Confirm that the trailer has adequate clearance over the conveyor deck and hopper as its axles pass over the unit. Check that the discharge height and reach match the receiving intake, and account for ground firmness, traffic flow, available power, and downstream capacity.
Operation, Service, and Transport
Keep the trailer approach and work area clear and use trained operators. Keep guards in place, lock out power before inspection or service, use qualified electrical service, and relieve hydraulic pressure before hydraulic work. Use the manual for the conveyor's serial number for setup, operation, service, and transport; Brandt also requires appropriate operator training.
Pitstop conveyors are not intended for public-road transport. Move them empty, connected with the proper towing equipment and safety chains, and within the applicable visibility, speed, slope, route, and local-law requirements.
